Age Action is organising a new four-week course exploring the role and lives of older people in Ireland and developing countries.
The course will look at some of the human rights and justice issues faced by older people including income security, health, perceptions of older people, human rights and climate justice.
The course will engage participants in an interactive and enjoyable learning environment, through the use of small group exercises, discussion, debate, video and photographs.
Who's it for?
The course is aimed at older people or those working with older people. Those with an interest in older people and/or international development are also welcome!
Where's it on?
The course will take place at the Carmelite Community Centre, 56 Aungier St. Dublin 2.
When's it on?
The course is in four parts and will take place from 11am to 3pm on the following days:
- Thursday 20 October 2016
- Thursday 27 October 2016
- Thursday 3 November 2016
- Thursday 10 November 2016
The course is free but to ensure attendance a €25 refundable deposit is required.
